India 2020

The progress of India in every sphere is in the dreams of every individual who lives in this country. But did we ever think ever that what amount of contribution did we put forward to achieve the progress that we wanted??? Have we ever thought on this issue?

During India's 55th Republic Day celebration our former great president Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam's delivered a speech about his vision for India towards 2020. He inspired us with his vision to make India a superpower by the year 2020. India 2020 depicts the Vision for the new millennium to be achieved by the year 2020. For more information on our president's inspirational speech just go through this article check it...

If I were given the power to be the Chairwoman of the planning commission then I would try to introduce best possible methods to tackle the problems that our nation is facing today. The area where I would focus on first is the illiteracy problem. Education plays a major role in shaping a country's future. 100% literacy and school education to be provided to the children who is the Country’s future. So corrective steps would be taken to improve the quality of basic compulsory education provided to the students in rural areas. Most of the people living in rural parts of India struggle with the public health care system as its minimal or non existant in the villages. Due to commercial gains the health care system is concentrating on cities and urbanized places. We have got world class hospitals with excellent doctors which attracts the millions of patients outside of the country. But we are not able to provide a basic health care system to our citizens. Steps would be introduced by the government along with the private health care institutions to provide a accessible public health care system to the rural people at free of cost. The strength of India lies in its Human Resources and our government responsibility is to take care of it well. Lets make India a healthy nation by 2020.

Secondly solid steps would be taken to improve the existing infrastructure and high level sanitation .. Instead of investing crores of Rupees in making infrastructure in Urban areas also invest in the commencing basic infrastructure in all villages as villages do play a core part in the development of the nation.

Again the corruption prevailing in the country should be handled at all levels. Apart from the above areas there are certain things that we need to give importance. One is the transparency in our political system like western countries. This will prevent the corruption which is hindering the growth of our country.

If all these can be achieved then we can build an India of our dreams come true……
